A digital scrapbooking platform where anyone can create, share, and experience their stories — and where designers turn their craft into income.
Glo is a creative platform where users build digital scrapbooks directly in the browser — composing layouts, adding photos and text, and sharing their work as an immersive, book-like experience. The result feels nothing like a social media post; it feels like holding something real.
Beyond the consumer experience, Glo has a second economy built in: a marketplace layer where designers publish their own templates and earn revenue every time a creator uses their work. Two audiences, one platform, one cohesive design challenge.
This project was a split-team effort. I owned the Wix Studio marketing and public-facing site — the entry point for new users, the brand storytelling layer, and the onboarding experience that converts visitors into members.
In parallel, the development team built the core web application: the dashboard and design creation environment where users actually build their scrapbooks. I provided the UX architecture, design system, and component specifications that guided that build — bridging brand and product seamlessly.
Everyday users who want to preserve memories, tell stories, and share their lives beautifully — without design expertise. The UX needed to feel as intuitive as drag-and-drop, as expressive as a blank canvas.
Creative professionals who see Glo as a revenue channel — publishing premium templates to a marketplace and earning each time a creator chooses their work. For them, the platform is both a studio and a storefront.
Mapped the full user journey for both audiences — creators and designers — identifying where the flows diverge and where they share infrastructure. Defined the information architecture for the marketing site and the dashboard, ensuring a seamless handoff between the two.
Designed and built the public-facing site in Wix Studio — brand storytelling, feature presentation, pricing pages, and conversion-optimized onboarding flows. Every page built to communicate Glo's unique value proposition to two distinct audiences without losing either.
Developed the component library and UX specifications for the web app dashboard — the creation environment, template marketplace, and designer earnings interface. Delivered to the development team as a fully documented design system for implementation.
A brand identity built around the idea of creativity as a tactile experience — warm, textured, and deeply personal. The color system balances the calm depth of teal with warm neutral tones, evoking the feeling of a handcrafted object in a digital medium. Typography is editorial without being cold, inviting without being casual.
Every element of the visual system was designed to carry across both the Wix Studio marketing site and the web app dashboard — ensuring Glo feels like one coherent product, not two separate tools.
Glo launched with a fully integrated digital ecosystem: a Wix Studio marketing site that converts visitors into members, and a web app dashboard — built by the dev team from my UX specifications — that gives creators a powerful yet intuitive design canvas. The marketplace layer gives designers a genuine revenue stream, transforming Glo from a product into an economy.
